Snowflake Fair Isle is a classic, and this is a great short project to be your first fair isle (working two colors in the same row)! The headband is worked flat, the mittens in the round- we will start with the headband, and you can schedule a follow-up lesson if needed to learn knitting in the round, either the double pointed needle or magic loop method.

This was snowed out in December, let's try again! We currently have 3 spots available.

***If you would like to start with the headband/earwarmer, I highly recommend casting on 100 stitches in your main color and knitting one row, purling one row (stockinette stitch) until you are 1.25" from your cast on edge. That way we can jump right into the fair isle in class! Please contact me with questions.***

Supplies (not included with price of class, please buy needed supplies at Sun Dragon):

• Approximately 100g (1 skein) each of two colors worsted weight yarn (5 sts per inch)
• Size 6 circular (24" or longer) or straight needles for the headband (cast on for the headband is 100 sts), also size 6 DPNs or minimum 32" circular for the mittens
• Stitch Marker
