Hats are a quick and easy gift, and stripes are a great way to jazz up a simple hat pattern. Learn to make a hat with single stripes without “jogs” or breaks in the rows when you switch colors!

Supplies (not included with price of class, please buy needed supplies at Sun Dragon):

• Approximately 50-100 yards of 2-4 colors of worsted weight yarn

• size US 8 16” circular needles and DPNs (double point needles). If you wish to use smaller needles on the brim, US 6 16” circular needles. As always, everyone knits differently, so check your gauge. Use the needles that will give you a gauge of 20 stitches to 4 inches.

• Be Loving hat pattern, which we will modify in class. This basic hat pattern is free on Ravelry, we can print it at the shop if needed.
