October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Knitted Knockers is a great charity that collects and distributes knit and crochet prostheses for women who have had a mastectomy. We have many yarns that are on the approved list for making these, most of our cottons or cotton/bamboo blends. Make one for someone you know, or to donate for distribution by the charity!

Supplies (not included with price of class, please buy needed supplies at Sun Dragon):

• One skein sport or DK cotton yarn (see accepted yarns at knittedknockers.org)

• Size 4 or 5 (depending on the weight of the yarn) double point needles

• Stitch marker
