This gorgeous worsted weight shawl has both cables and lace, a wonderful way to learn or practice both! We will start small in the corner and learn all appropriate stitches. The majority of the shawl is garter with a fancy border, a great introduction to lace and cable techniques.

Supplies (not included with price of class, please buy needed supplies at Sun Dragon; supplies bought at Sun Dragon specifically for Saturday classes are 10% off):

• Approximately 550-600 yards of a worsted weight yarn. For the shop sample we will be using Cascade Friday Harbor, a worsted weight merino and silk blend

• size US 8 (5.0mm) circular needles, 32” length recommended, and size US 10 (6.0mm) needles for the bindoff (the larger needles are not needed for class)

• Anisah Shawl pattern by Dee O’Keefe, $6.00 on Ravelry. We can also help you get this, and print it for you, in the shop.
