A modern take on the concept of a granny square, this hexagon based on Japanese kimono motifs can take on many looks depending on the colors used, we love a snowflake-like appearance it can have with blue and white. This can be a building block of a scarf, blanket, or more!
Supplies (not included with price of class, please buy needed supplies at Sun Dragon. Supplies bought specifically for Saturday classes will be 10% off):
Approximately 100 yards of any weight yarn in 2 colors. The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, but can be adapted for any size.
Hook appropriate for the yarn you are using (for fingering weight yarn she recommends anywhere from a D to an H for the motif and a B to join them together). I would use a hook a couple of sizes bigger than what is recommended on the ball band for the motif.)
Asanoha pattern by Galit Grosz Cabot available for $5.50 on Ravelry. We can help you purchase this and print it for you in the shop.
