A modern take on the concept of a granny square, this hexagon based on Japanese kimono motifs can take on many looks depending on the colors used, we love a snowflake-like appearance it can have with blue and white. This can be a building block of a scarf, blanket, or more!

Supplies (not included with price of class, please buy needed supplies at Sun Dragon. Supplies bought specifically for Saturday classes will be 10% off):

• Approximately 100 yards of any weight yarn in 2 colors. The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, but can be adapted for any size.

• Hook appropriate for the yarn you are using (for fingering weight yarn she recommends anywhere from a D to an H for the motif and a B to join them together). I would use a hook a couple of sizes bigger than what is recommended on the ball band for the motif.)

• Asanoha pattern by Galit Grosz Cabot available for $5.50 on Ravelry. We can help you purchase this and print it for you in the shop.
