This spirited rotating pattern is fun and easy! Knit with a DK weight yarn, or as I did, combine a variegated sport weight and sparkly mohair!

Prep work to do before class/supplies needed (please buy what you do not already have at Sun Dragon, 10% off supplies bought specifically for Saturday Classes):

• Approximately 175 yards of DK weight yarn (shop sample is knit with Twist Fiber Studio Sport, not available in the shop, and Lana Gatto Mohair Lux Mauve).

• US 4 (3.5 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needles, size US 7 DPNs for the top of the hat

• 2 different stitch markers

• Kaarre pattern by Maria Kostamovaara, free on Ravelry. We can print this for you in the shop.

• If you would like, you can get a head start on the ribbing before class. Contact the shop for details, but we will discuss the pattern beyond the ribbing in class as well, so you do not need to be done with the ribbing before class.
